Qualifications

  • expertise in VMware Cloud Foundation and VMware Tanzu, alongside traditional vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter Server environments
  • Advanced skills in deploying and utilizing monitoring tools like vRealize Operations and Aria, paired with good troubleshooting capabilities across complex VMware landscapes.
  • Proficient in scripting with PowerShell or Python and using automation platforms like vRealize Orchestrator and Tanzu CLI to streamline system administration tasks.
  • Strong analytical abilities to interpret system data for troubleshooting, coupled with a consultative approach to advising on infrastructure optimization and best practices.
  • Excellent knowledge of Linux and Windows OS
  • Experience with Docker and containerization
  • Experience in customer-facing tasks
  • “Get things done” mentality with drive and motivation to success
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, experience working in an early-stage startup is a plus
  • Proactive. Will follow up when things don’t get resolved
  • Excellent communication and presentations skills with excellent customer service approach
  • Good English and ideally German language skills (written and spoken)
  • Be able to work independently & as part of a team in a remote setup
  • Interest in innovative, top-notch software solutions
